Although Governor Abbott has removed the state-wide mask mandate, businesses still have the authority to enforce health and safety protocols. To uphold our promise of safe and dependable quality medical care, we will encourage our patients, providers, and employees to wear masks at all of our clinics. The extra precaution of wearing face masks will limit exposure to the virus including its new more contagious variants, even if someone is vaccinated. 

We have seen the devastating impact COVID-19 has had on the lives of too many people. With only 7.79% of the Texas population vaccinated and over 500,000 COVID-related deaths nationwide, Premier Independent Physicians will continue to follow guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Social distancing, handwashing, and wearing a mask are vital to limiting the spread of COVID-19.
